OUR STORY

Stacey is a former Jackson high school and collegiate athlete and a current Jackson native. She has traveled around the country competing at the highest level of competition including the Gulf Coast Half Ironman, and the UFC International road race in Las Vegas,  she has won numerous regional sprint triathlons as well as ran in multiple marathons and half marathons across the country. She continues to stay physically active on a daily basis as well as coaching youth sports and giving private softball lessons.

She received her Masters of Physical Therapy from Cleveland State. She the  went on to work for the Cleveland Clinic Sports Health department for 7 years with focus on sports rehab and injury prevention. While there, she worked with the areas top high school athletes across various sports as well as several Cleveland based professional athletes. She specialized in working with the throwing biomechanics of baseball and softball players as well as developed an innovative running analysis and running injury prevention program.

After spending 3 years running private Orthopedic clinics specializing in post surgical and injury rehab in athletes in the Washington DC market, Stacey returned home to Jackson and has spent the last 10 years of working for the Crystal Clinic focusing on orthopedics and post surgical rehab.  Here she has had the opportunity to work hand in hand with top surgeons to develop modern and groundbreaking rehabilitation protocols and treatment programs.  She stills continues to focus on sports rehab and athlete injury prevention.

Stacey’s biggest driver in opening Polar Bear Physical Therapy and Performance is to improve the overall wellness  and quality of life of her community! She is committed to helping the general population alleviate pain and prevent injuries, while continuing to help elevate young athletes to their optimal performance levels through improved biomechanics and body awareness.
